Mr Ian King is a fully accredited UK‑trained Consultant Plastic, Reconstructive & Aesthetic Surgeon, specialising in safe, natural‑looking results and patient centred care. He is on the GMC Specialist Register for Plastic Surgery and holds full membership of BAPRAS and BAAPS, and he is certified on the Royal College of Surgeons Cosmetic Surgery Board, reflecting the highest standards of professional training and ethical practice.

He holds a substantive consultant post at the world famous Queen Victoria Hospital in East Grinstead and works also at the University Hospitals Sussex.

Research & Innovation
Mr Ian King maintains a strong commitment to training, research and surgical innovation.
As an Honorary Assistant Professor, he teaches regularly for Brighton and Sussex Medical School, delivering clinical training, and contributing to the development of future surgeons.
Mr Ian King has authored over 50 peer‑reviewed publications, multiple book chapters, and presented academic work at national and international conferences.
His active research interests centre on improving standards nationally for cardiothoracic patients requiring complex plastic surgical reconstruction and in advancing the use of advanced imaging technologies to optimise surgical pathways for devastating traumatic lower limb injuries.
